Books and more
Owning a bookshop involves curating the list of books to stock – a fun (and daunting) endeavour! With almost 10,000 books in store, we aim to have a wide range of books. We aim to prioritise indigenous writers and writers from multicultural backgrounds. We also seek to promote the works of female writers and Australian writers. Our bookshop has a progressive lean, with a range of non-fiction books addressing issues on climate change, inequality and social welfare. We also stock an exciting range of translated fiction, from authors like Elif Shafak and Haruki Murakami.
We aspire to offer a thoughtful and considered selection of children’s books that reflect diverse families and traditions with inspiring messages.
